This is the same front caliper kit I developed for my “X-15” Chop-Off bike.
The kit comes with a 7 1/2″ diameter stainless steel rotor, a polished stainless steel caliper bracket for a springer front end, a polished aluminum 2 piston caliper, and a brake anchor rod. This is a custom kit that is made to order, so please allow time in your schedule if you’re considering it.
Do not expect to do stoppies with this kit, but it works surprisingly well for its size.
This caliper will allow you to replace that leaking, rattling, squealing banana caliper. It requires you to shave 1/4″ off the left side wheel spacer and change your master cylinder to a 5/8″ bore. It runs on DOT5 fluid, and can be used with your stock rotor. It utilizes a late model 2 piston floating sportbike caliper, and parts are readily available from any sportbike dealer.
These brand new “retro looking” 2 piston Calipers will look great on your “Old School” Bobber or Chop. They will stop you without any rattles or squealing, and the pads are readily available at any Sport Bike Shop.
The bracket is stainless steel, and can be shined to a mirror finish. Available for 10″ or 11 1/2″ rotors, and for 3/4″ axles.
Front and rear kits are available separately, or as a package deal. Shown is a caliper and bracket for the front of an ’84 to ’99 41mm front end with an 11 1/2″ rotor, and a rear for most applications with an 11 1/2″ rotor.
Kit includes (2) used (very low mileage) Tokico 4 piston calipers, (2) brackets, 10mm banjo bolts (same as stock HD), attachment hardware, rear brake anchor rod, and a tab to weld to the rear frame rail to accept the anchor rod. Total package price: $480.00 plus $15 for shipping. (This is a 5 percent savings over separate purchase pricing).

These stainless steel Anchor Rods are adjustable and available in several different lengths: 5 3/4″ – 6 3/4″, 7 3/4″ – 8 3/4″, 9 3/4″ – 10 3/4″, and 11 3/4″ – 12 3/4″
They no longer have flats machined into the rod, as it was unnecessary and too costly. The rods feature high quality 3/8″ spherical rod ends.
This kit adds a 4 piston Tokico front caliper to your Springer front end. Included in the kit is a 4 piston Tokico caliper, swivel bracket, hardware to mount caliper to the bracket, and a 10mm banjo bolt for the brake line (same as HD). Bracket has a bronze bearing to allow the bracket to swivel on the axle as the suspension works.
This tab can be welded to the lower rear fork leg to catch Anchor the Brake Arm.
